7 wonders of sale

Getting your wardrobe summer ready isn’t always the nicest thing to do. Nevertheless, it has to been done! I’m always doing two clean ups and a few updates during the year. One in spring and one right after summer.  We’re right in the middle now, so it’s clearly time for an update.

Updating you’re wardrobe for summer is just adding some holiday items and pulling out (most of) the sweaters. You still want some left for those breezy sunset nights on your holiday destination. And when it’s the perfect timing to go shopping? During SALE! Summer Sale period at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond equals extra savings on outlet prices! Win-win situation, this from June 1st till August 13th!

Today I’m writing about something every man should think about, and that’s the convertible summer look. Today I’m putting 2 looks together with only 7 items, my 7 wonders of Sale. A look you can wear in a more formal setting, or when it’s just not hot or appropriate enough to wear shorts. And one look you definitely can wear on the way to the beach or to stroll around at your holiday destination with temperatures over 30 degrees.

For this look I headed over to McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Roermond. I love to get my hands om some more high end (designer) items, for which I don’t have to pay the full price. Since the last time I was here, a new extension has opened with more than 50 additional stores! So definitely worth paying a visit again to them!

Have a look at the items!

Formal version

It’s a classic and you’ve probably heard it already before but during Sale you should go for timeless pieces. I went for a classic linen shirt and to keep it interesting I went for a navy one instead of a white one. As a man you best invest in shoes and maybe if you like, a pair of designer sunglasses.

1. Navy linen shirt by Tiger of Sweden (now 79,00 EUR)
2. Beige trousers by Tiger of Sweden
3. Mocasins by Zegna (From 420,00 to 270,00 now on Sale for 162,00 EUR)
4. Sunglasses by Prada via Sunglass Hut

Holiday version

For this look, I replaced the longer trousers by a linen shorts of Zegna with a pair of comfy Bally espadrilles… Perfect look for heading to the beach. Oh don’t forget you’re beach bag of Sandro. 😉

4. Sunglasses by Tom Ford via Sunglass Hut
5. Linen short by Zegna (From 200,00 to 125,00 now on Sale for 75,00 EUR)
6. Espadrilles by Bally
7. Bag by Sandro

That’s it for my styling tips for you right now. As you all know me I’m a huge food lover and what would a day of shopping be like without food?! Plenty enough choices at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Roermond. Healthy options, (La Place and Wagamama) Burgers, … even a second Starbucks has opened in the new section! – Ice lattes! YESSSS

We had so much fun, I’ll come back very soon I guess. Ow and I scored my first pair of Dolce & Gabbana shoes… I’ll write a little post about them very soon.
