Budapest Photo Diary

001
Hi Guys,

Ok, I know it took me ages to get to this photo diary of Budapest, don’t ask me why!?
I’m having the busiest period of my life; really, I never thought blogging would ask so much of me. Anyway Here we are finally!

Budapest is a really interesting and beautiful city with many touristic attractions! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side.
It was quite foggy, cold and sometimes also rainy. Luckily our Hotel had the best tricks to cheer us op from this little bad weather! 😉

And although we didn’t have the best weather I could definitely see the beauty is this city! I will guide you through ours day in Budapest to inspire you a little for maybe your next city trip!

While strolling around, we visited the liberty bridge, on our way to the old centrum of Budapest, called Buda, yeah you have two parts, the newer center called Pest with the massive, beautiful, and perfectly symmetric house of parliament (A must see, actually you can’t miss it).
And the older part called Buda. Here you can see the old center of Budapest and the beautifully named Church! The Matthias Church is really a must see, the inside is colorful and nicely detailed! Moreover the old center is very cute and nice to walk through!

Also there are lots of nice restaurants and bars to eat after your city walk, I recommend you to eat at the French restaurant Pavillion De Paris! It was really delicious!

In the evening we went to one of the most popular ruin bars in Budapest,
Budapest has many of these ruin bars, you definitely have to do one when you are there, I recommend you the best and perhaps the biggest one, Simple Kert!
It is insane how big this bar is; it has many rooms in different themes and totally different decorations, packed with loads of vintage stuff! You must see it to know what it’s really like. Simple Kert is near the Zara hotel where we stayed. Another touristic attraction what Budapest is known for are the natural thermal baths. I recommend you to go to The Szechenyi Baths, it is one of the biggest, oldest and most beautiful ones!

Now a little more about our hotel.. Continental Hotel Budapest is nicely located in the center with lots of bars and shopping opportunities in the neighborhood. They have many room options so if you like to have a bit more space in your hotel room you should book a suite at this hotel, you won’t regret it because they offer you the best service in complete luxury for an unforgettable stay.  Of course they also have smaller rooms for people who spent most of their time outdoors!
Next to great rooms they also have a unique wellness area. Have a look at my pictures, great isn’t it?
I also can’t forget to tell you something more about their foooood! It was great and you have so many options, really breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was all perfectly catered, and of course with great service on top!For the rest I will let the pictures do the talking, if you have any more questions just ask me.  Hope you like my photo diary and I hope to be back in Budapest very soon,
and this time with a little bit more sunshine!

Enjoy the pictures!
