Heritage Fendi at MFW

This season’s Fendi show was very strong showcasing the brands deep heritage and their long standing connection with Karl Lagerfeld. A greater focus on more elegant pieces with a color scheme consisting of blacks and neutrals. It was a real mixture between a heritage Fendi and a new modern reinterpretation of classic designs.

Streetwear styles were also used as inspiration within the collection with knitwear featuring zippers and gold beads, with an oversized fit. A very strong collection that showed us something new and something reimagined.

The accessories showed the collaboration with Japanese luggage brand Porter, it was a fresh take on some classic Fendi styles. They debuted their classic Baguette and Peekabo bags for men, being featured in nylon, crocodile, mink and Selleria leather. Allowing for a crossing between gender boundaries and a more enriching fashion experience.
