After Leonardo won his long deserved Oscar, I thought to inspire my next look with one of my favorite roles of him in ”The Wolf of Wall street”. A film for which he should have already won his first Oscar. Leonardo is one of my favorite actors and I’m very happy for him with this recognition, however I do feel sorry for the people who won best picture and best actress because Leonardo got away with all the attention of the evening. Therefore, congrats to Spotlight and Brie Larson for winning your first academy award too. Now let’s forget about the Leonardo hype for just a minute and talk about my outfit and why I went to the Stock exchange in Brussels to shoot this.
About my outfit: camel tones, brown leather loafers and a red tie to give this look a spring feeling, however with my wool trousers it’s still a mix in between. The colors of my entire look match nicely and support the red color of my new Paul Evans loafers. The look is really dapper and resembles a businessman with ambition just like Leonardo in the Wolf of Wall street. A businessman needs to be bold therefore his accessories are of extreme importance. They will attract the attention of your counter business partner and give him a trustworthy, confident and solid impression. My partner in crime to establish these impressions are the cufflinks I got from the Elite and Luck. They sell luxurious gemstone cufflinks of high quality for men who like to dress for success. This collection in particular is called “Bull and Bear” inspired by their passion in investing in the stock market. No better background to shoot this outfit than the Stock exchange in Brussels or also known as Euronext! Not as impressive as Wall Street but still, you get the impression.
