Soho is one of the all time favorite neighborhood in Manhattan. The cast-iron fire escapes and industrial facades are a unique worldwide monument and deserve to be on the Unesco worldwide heritage. This beautiful architecture has led many luxurious fashion warehouses to have showcase stores in this beautiful area. However Soho is more than a go-to spot for the fashionistas among us, this area houses many hipster coffee bars, delicious restaurants and art galleries to feed our stomach and minds. With an overload on hotspots we love to highlight our favorite ones in this downtown neighborhood.
Where to eat
Omen A Zen: This authentic Japanese restaurant serves traditional Japanese food, which is more than sushi. Furthermore the service is fantastic. This restaurant was recommended by local friends and is apparently pretty popular among many celebrities (not when we were there).

Soho Park: located in the middle of Soho you can’t miss this glass building. Delightful garden seating both inside and out. They serve great burgers and hotdogs that come with Belgian-style fries approved by real Belgians ;).
Maman: This local NYC breakfast and lunch spot can be found in Tribeca, the Bowery and Soho. It has a very charming interior with delicious baked goods. The French toast is to die for.
Where to shop
Opening ceremony: this cool concept store features fashion from a different country each year. The taste of the owners is impeccable and they sell different avant-garde and unique pieces that will make you fall in love at first sight.

Supreme store: It’s the brand flagship store, what more can I say? Release days have serious lines and they sell out of all the hot items almost instantly. After their recent capsule collection with Louis Vuitton this store was a must visit in NYC.
Where to sleep
This was the first time we actually stayed in Soho, more specifically in the 11Howard Hotel. In general this area has quite expensive accommodation, but if you have the money this Hotel is definitely worth its price. A more detailed review about our stay you can read here.
