Here’s another look from MattG in Paris. For this look we went to Versailles, the luxurious palace of Louis XIV, right outside the city center of Paris. At first we wanted to visit both the palace and the gardens, however when we saw the big queue waiting to enter the palace we didn’t feel like joining. I guess Easter isn’t the most perfect period to visit this touristic attraction. Fortunately this didn’t ruin our day because the gardens on their own were big enough to fill our entire day; furthermore the weather was very nice. I think we’ve almost spent 4 hours walking around in this masterpiece of this crazy King.
I was blown away by the largeness, architecture, music and details of the gardens. I wish I could go in time to see Louis XIV having a party with ballet dancers, orchestras, carriages and women dressed in corsets and crinolines.
But let’s not get carried away in time and let’s talk some outfit. I was wearing a pretty bright outfit on this extremely bright day. Since Easter arrived I could officially take out my white pants! I combined it with a grey sweater to match with my new lace-up shoes
from Frank Wright. The shoes are in a soft type of leather and feel very summery. I also threw on my chalk denim jacket, which by now you probably now I adore very much. By the way, it made my whole ensemble complete from top to bottom.
Okay, that was a little about my experience in Versailles and about my outfit, hope you like it!
