3 of our favorite spring Jackets

Spring in almost here, but the weather is still pretty unpredictable. We already gave you some tips on how to handle the transitional season in one of our previous posts. Today we are dedicating an article to our favorite spring jackets because it is time to ditch the parkas and puffer coats and opt for a more lightweight option. You want something that won’t cause you to overheat during the day but also won’t leave you shivering at night. Here are three of our streetwear favorites.

The Leather Jacket

The ultimate essential in any man’s wardrobe, the leather jacket is one of the most versatile jackets you can own. It is pretty simple to wear this piece dressed up or down. Furthermore, a leather jacket has the perfect thickness for spring and only covers your top half, keeping you a lot cooler than a longer jacket. In addition, leather jackets are usually styled unfastened, meaning there is little risk of getting too hot. Wear your leather jacket with a plain t-shirt, distressed jeans and trainers for the perfect casual look, throw on a hoodie for those colder days.

The bomber Jacket
Bomber jackets have been covering the streets for the last couple of seasons and they are here to stay. You can get bomber jackets in a range of thicknesses so make sure you opt for a thinner one ensuring it’s not too tight so you can layer if necessary. Lately we’re huge fans of Borg collars, they keep our necks soft and warm while giving that little extra to the whole outfit.

The Denim Jacket

Nothing looks more like spring than light wash denim. Therefore, the denim jacket is an obvious choice for this season. Again, a very versatile item to combine and available in many different colors like different shades of blue or black or grey. The denim jacket looks good with a shirt or with a T-shirt and you can go for denim on denim with a pair of jeans or look more uptown with some cool chinos.

So, when you’re in doubt about your next spring look there are three go to jacket that will never disappoint. Whether you’re going for a statement bomber, an iconic leather jacket or feel good denim jacket, always use some layers to stay cool and look good.
