Balenciaga’s latest campaign took to the streets of Paris, often recalled as city of love. The shots, captured through the romantic lens of quintessential photographer Greg Finck, highlight real couples, portraying lovers wearing the seasonal range.
The campaign aligns itself with the AW19 retail twitch. Standout staples span from broad-shouldered coats, oversized anoraks, graphic sweaters and geometric-sized boots, emulating a chic-meet-street twist of tailoring, modernised and made wearable by all sorts of demographics.
Photographs showcase couples modelling the pieces across the French capital – casual supermarkets, runs by the banks of the Seine are just few of the moods encapsulated by Demna’s avant-garde ode to the capital.
