Cheval Three Quays – Tower of London

Matthias Geerts

As you guys could see on my Instagram and Snapchat I went for a citytrip to London for the long weekend of the Belgian National holiday. London already stole my heart several times and I was very happy to return. Apart from enjoying the city we were also very lucky to stay in Cheval three Quays apartments. This beautiful new apartment building is located next to the tower of London and close the Tower Hill tube station.

My experience
I a firm believer of first impressions being everlasting, I was welcomed delightfully by the staff standing behind a very modern floating desk, the lobby had nice and elegant interior with fountains giving you an immediate relaxed mood after escaping from the city hustle. The helpful staff was quick to assist me with
check-in and take care of my bags.
When I returned back to the hotel later I was guided to my apartment and I got a complete tour of all the equipment available in there. A very lovely feature upon arriving was the box with treats and refrigerator filled with food and drinks; this was very nice surprise. The technology in the apartment was also fine with 2 televisions, a Bose sound system and a Nespresso machine. While there were no international plugs, an adapter was promptly brought to our room by housekeeping. For the most enjoyable experience I would recommend to take an apartment with riverside view. This is far most the most beautiful part of the residence.
Our apartment was spacious and had a lovely view of the Thames and the Shard. The apartment itself was excellent: spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedroom, hallway and large bathroom. If your travelling with a bigger group Cheval tree Quays also offers a unique selection of studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses, with many having unrivalled views across the Thames towards Tower Bridge and City Hall.

The area
The area of Cheval three Quays provides an eclectic and vibrant look at London life, and from your shiny apartment, you’re never far from the action. London Bridge’s Borough Market is moments away and up-and-coming Maltby Street is the place to enjoy a quality glass or bottle of wine under the area’s converted railway arches. For culture, the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe and Saint Paul’s Cathedral are all a stone’s throw down the ancient river.
