Designer Ralph Lauren Commended With New Documentary Paying Homage To His Renowned Career

Tribute after tribute, Lauren’s work will officially make history!

Rumours may now end HBO revealed its imminent documentary on legendary fashion icon Ralph Lauren, entitled Very Ralph. Directed and produced by award-winning documentarian Susan Lacy, the feature-length highlights the figure behind one of the most fruitful brands in the history of fashion.

Very Ralph is scheduled to hit worldwide screens as Lauren paves his way into his sixth decade in the fashion scope. The documentary epitomises a deep retrospection of the designer, highlighting his journey from his teen years in Bronx, all the way to his triumphs as one of fashion’s most prominent designers of all times. Further specifics touched in the movie include Lauren’s childhood, his 50-year-long marriage, the start of his career, criticism and his radical vision.

Furthermore, the documentary leads up to interviews with his close circle of friends and beloved acquaintances, including family and a “lust list” of pioneering long-term colleagues, such as Monsieur Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Hillary Clinton, Naomi Campbell, Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Tina Brown among many others.

The documentary is set to premier on HBO November 12th.
