A few days after Gucci added an arcade-style games to its app, Louis Vuitton has now fashioned his own video game, entitled Endless Runner. The retro game thrives inspiration from Virgil Abloh’s Autumn/Winter 2019 menswear show, matching with the collection’s launch both online and in physical stores.
Last week, Abloh shared the game on his Instagram feed. Just like Gucci’s arcade-style kind, the graphics in Endless Runner are purposely lo-fi, echoing a frantic era of gaming. For the game, players need to run around NYC, in order to organise Virgil Abloh’s Autumn/Winter 2019 menswear show. The more tokens one earns, the more one’s pace increases.
