One of our much-loved monograms taps us once again: Louis Vuitton’s latest seasonal offering is looming, and rest assured that you may not wish to skip it. The Maison’s Creative Director, AKA Virgil Abloh, chose to reformat classic sportswear and street-leaning inclinations, leading his team to craft a complementary styling that juxtaposes high-end tailoring with a more functional layering aesthetic. Off-duty looks blended with an utilitarian spirit are new go-to trend statements: lightweight raincoats created from plush leather bloom evocative detailing, uplifting several staple pieces like zipper-hemmed cargo pants, cargo pocket wool overcoats and chain-abetted anoraks. Staple pieces include graphic bags and natty sneakers. A whimsical air is brought to us by trucker jackets and warped pants too. Louis Vuitton’s dynamic sartorial outlook is all a radiant utility lover could ever dream of.
