Pitti Day Two

Matthias Geerts

Hi Guys,

How are you all? I’m still in Florence.
Unfortunately it is my last day.
It has been a great new experience for me.
Pitti Uomo is buyer’s heaven for the new season.
It has so much to offer, every style is covered.
However, the main style you see at Pitti is of course the totally tailored gentleman style.
It is so great to see so many men wearing their sharpest outfits for this event.
For this Pitti is already worth visiting.

Of course I’ve also tried to pull out my best looks for this event.
Here I’m showing what I was wearing on the second day.
We shot this outfit at night while we were heading for dinner in the city center.
Florence has great street lightning to shoot at night,
even an amateur photographer can get the lightning right.
Furthermore, the city is beautiful in the night,
it’s very romantic, and I definitely recommend it for a city trip.
I will tell you more about Florence in my photo diary next week.

Now more about the outfit,
I’m wearing black and green with gold details.
If you are wearing a lot of black,
gold is the perfect color to accessorize your outfit for a rich look.
I got the green blazer from Luigi Bianchi Mantova (LUBIAM),
and Italian brand that already exists since 1911.
They have a very big collection of amazing Italian suits.
The Black oxford shoes are from Sacha and fit nicely with the whole look.

Tomorrow I’ll show you my favorite look that I had for this week so stay tuned.
