SS20 epitomises the first Pringle of Scotland’s collection under the newly-appointed menswear design director Giuseppe Marretta, who adds modernist brushstrokes to the classic looks often portrayed by the heritage brand season after season.

Inspired by British artist David Hockney, the SS20 collection includes a galore of cashmeres and knitwear pieces, renovating archetypal preppy Oxford-styled garments with surface-patterned artworks of Hockney. Standout details are noticeable by the artist’s iconic illustrations of swimming pools, constituting a core reference that’s been widely interpreted throughout the range.
