Rax standing for Russell Athletic ‘X’ amid others, champions the production of the crewneck sweatshirt in 1920, by Benjamin Russell Jr, back when Russell Athletic would collaborate on premium crafted sweatshirts for individual football teams. 100 years on, ‘RAX’ has been able to demonstrate its capacity to extend a precious legacy, partnering with the very best.

For Spring/Summer 2020, Russell Athletic has partnered with the one of the world’s leading department stores, Selfridges, to produce an exclusive 19-piece RAX collection, made from 500gsm dry organic loopback jersey, and complemented by a range of Terry towelling styles from four of Russell’s original silhouettes, which comprise a crewneck, hoodie, t-shirt, and track pants.

Paying homage to Russell Athletics’ DNA, this collection melds the new RAX logo with its iconic patch branding, ready to update classic styles into contemporary aesthetics.

Available now, you can shop the RAX x Selfridges at stores in London, Manchester and Birmingham, or online on the Selfridges website. See campaign imagery below:
