She’s back: hitting the planet on March the 1st with an enticing brand-new album is Solange Knowles, who over the past weeks tweeted an image listing the tracks featured on her long-awaited soul masterpiece (a total of 19).
Prior to its release, Solange teased her crowd by taking over the website BlackPlanet.
At the end of 2018, the singer-songwriter reported a release of “When I Get Home”, however her fans were still waiting for its official release.
It’s a follow up to 2016’s “A Seat At The Table”, critiqued to be one of the best albums of the year by an array of publications.
In the last year, Solange has been working on her art mediums, like her performance art piece Metratronia, which took place in Marfa, Texas. Following that, she was nominated Harvard Foundation Artist of the Year.
The album features contributions from artists such as Sampha, Cassie, Gucci Mane, Earl Sweatshirt and more.
And for all the British fans? Here comes the true excitement: Solange has been recently confirmed as one of the performers at a range of music festivals world-wide, including Parklife Music Festival in Manchester and Lovebox in London’s Gunnersbury Park.
