Earlier this year, the British Fashion Council announced it would honour Naomi Campbell’s trailblazing contribution to the fashion industry by crowning her its 2019 Fashion Icon. Giorgio Armani will also be honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award, and further tributes will be declared prior to the event. The industry will also celebrate 100 young creatives, from photographers to stylists, set designers to make-up artists, as part of the New Wave: Creative scheme, launched in conjunction with the British Fashion Council in 2018.
