The Mandarin Way

Today I’m showing you how wearing a different type of collar can add an extra dimension to your styling?
Yes, if done right, it could make the difference between well dressed and stylish. The next time you dress up, collar up the mandarin way! You may not have heard of Chinese collars but you surely must have seen them before. Technically, a mandarin collar is a stand-up collar style without a flap on a shirt or jacket, typically rising up to two to five centimeters vertically. In my opinion it lies between the formal and informal zone allowing numerous permutations and combinations. I would not wear it to work but with the right choice of fabrics, a mandarin collar can look elegant on an evening out. Furthermore the fine squared blue white print gives the shirt a stylish and pretty smart appeal. Break away from the routine and go mandarin, it is the right kind of shirt to look elegant this spring!
